Kept thinking about one reader the whole way through.

The leader who just got the title.
The first-time team lead.

The individual contributor who is suddenly responsible for outcomes they can’t produce alone.

What stayed with me were two key themes.

1. Curiosity in the leader.
2. Psychological safety on the team.

Read it before you have to or give it to a new leader to set them on a great path.
