Coach Brandon Jenkins writes about the power of and. He is pictured outdoors, wearing a coat and looking at the sky.

I realized something in a coaching session a while back.

Not one I was running. One I was in.

The realization was this.

Earning income and expressing purpose are
two separate things.

I’d been treating them like the same thing.

When you build a business around what you believe your
purpose is, it’s easy to do that.

Every conversation starts to carry the
weight of the business.

You’re not just in the moment with the person
in front of you.

You’re also wondering where it leads.

That gets heavy.

The release was seeing that I can express my purpose in
any interaction.

Any moment.
Whether or not a transaction comes with it.

And on the income side, there are a lot of ways
to handle that.

It doesn’t have to run through one channel.

For the first time in a while, those two things had some
air between them.

That’s the power of And.

Sometimes it takes someone else in the room to
help you see it.
