Have you ever caught yourself doing this on a call?
I have.
I’m with someone, supposed to be all there for them, and my head is still back on whatever I was chewing on before I got on.
The strategy, the money, some problem I couldn’t shake.
So I’m only kind of there.
The more I’ve taken on, the more I see it. You end up playing a bunch of roles in a day.
One minute you’re sitting back looking at the whole thing like an owner, the next you’re in it with somebody who needs you all the way in.
Still working on actually being in the one I’m in.
How do you pull yourself back into the room when your head’s somewhere else?
