Author and coach Brandon Jenkins writes about go mode and recharging. He is pictured on a sunny day at the beach.

You don’t always have to be in “go mode”
to make progress.

Took a mid-afternoon walk down to the beach to
recharge a bit yesterday.

No agenda. No headphones.
Just fresh air, sunshine, and space to breathe.

I call this “receive mode.”

It’s the opposite of “go mode.”

It’s when I stop thinking about the next thing I “should”
be doing and just focus on being present.

No pushing. No forcing.
Just listening, observing, and taking it all in.

Funny how the best ideas and clarity often show up
when you stop trying to chase them.

Hope you find a little time to recharge this weekend.

What helps you get into receive mode?
