Coach Brandon Jenkins speaks about leaders, time, and how to lead with more clarity. He is pictured in his offie, wearing a Tier One hat, seated in front of his blueprint and a bookshelf.

A common belief I hear from leaders:

“I don’t have time.”

On the surface, it feels true.

• Their responsibilities have grown.
• Their calendars are packed.
• Their teams rely on them.

But here’s what I see underneath that belief:

The things that would help them lead with more clarity…

• reflection
• growth work
• deep thinking
• conversations that reveal blind spots

…are the same things they push to “later.”

And “later” never comes.

Leaders say they want time for:

• Challenging the assumptions shaping their behavior
• Thinking about the hard problems
• Carving out space to reflect
• Their own development
• Working with a coach

But it always ends with the same question:

“When am I supposed to fit that in?”

If you keep believing you don’t have time, you’ll never
see the opportunities already available to you.

The belief becomes the barrier.

leadership right now?
